Dr. Joseph P. O’Leary

Cosmetic & Implant Dentists Accepting New Patients in Lone Tree, Centennial, Highlands Ranch & Nearby Colorado

Joseph O’Leary, DDS, grew up in Rockford, Illinois, and attended college at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 1985. After completing his dental degree at the University of Illinois in 1989, he came to Colorado and furthered his education at a dental residency program at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. This program allowed Dr. O'Leary to further his surgical skills and helped him to become adept at managing many medically compromised patients. One-third of his time in residency was also spent at Children’s Hospital of Denver, giving him additional experience in managing the needs of younger patients.

Dr. O’Leary became the first dentist in Lone Tree, Colorado, when he founded Meadows Dental Group (formerly known as Arbor Dental Group-Lone Tree). He has been in practice in Colorado for over 20 years and in the Lone Tree location for over 15 years.

Ongoing education is a key component of Meadows Dental Group's commitment to excellence. Dr. O'Leary has completed training in sleep apnea treatment. He has also attained credentialing in sedation dentistry.

Dr. O’Leary has worked with many charitable organizations in the Colorado area, including Craig Hospital, Children's Diabetes Foundation, Kids in Need of Dentistry, the Colorado chapter of Dentistry for the Handicapped and the Douglas County’s Women’s Crisis Center. Through the years Dr. O’Leary has had involvement with the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society.

Dr. O’Leary has been married for 22 years to Jane, who works at Craig Hospital. They enjoy playing golf and skiing with their two boys, Ryan and Joey, ages 20 and 18.  Ryan attends University of Denver and Joey will be attending Arizona State University.  When not playing sports, they enjoy everything Colorado has to offer, from hikes in the mountains to taking in Avalanche, Rockies, Nuggets and Bronco games. The family are parishioners of St. Thomas More Catholic church.
